FACT

Two races to be held at Aldershot were the Royal Scots Greys Regimental Race and the ‘Grey Horse’ Challenge Cup.

 

QUESTION

Why might the winner of the ‘Grey Horse’ Challenge Cup not have been awarded the Cup?

 

CURRENT SITUATION

Although the last official meeting took place in 1927, Military meetings took place up to 1939, and the course still exists, managed by the British Horse Society.
