BOWIE RACECOURSE
The racecourse of Bowie was situated in the town of Bowie in the state of Maryland. Its inaugural meeting was held on 1st October 1914 and the course was the mainstay of racing in the area throughout the 1950's and 60's. However, newer courses with better facilities opened in the area and the track held its final meeting on 14th July 1985.
	The course does still exist and is used as a training centre.
