COLWALL PARK HISTORY
After 1900, once the racecourse came into existence, the Horse & Groom was renamed the Horse & Jockey.
It later became the Horse & Jockey Hotel, with the delightfully simple telephone number of Colwall 247.
The porcelain toilet seat in the Hotel is reported to have been inscribed with "Bottoms Up"
The Hotel is now a Working Mens Club
