CORBIEWOOD GREYHOUND STADIUM

This site is not an official website for the track shown here and is neither approved or endorsed by the stadium. I am indebted to Richard English for the scans of badges on this page.

The greyhound track in the Scottish town of Corbiewood was situated at 3° 54' W 56° 4' N in the Bannackburn area of Scotland and operated from 1969 as an independent track throughout its history. The track could be found at the trotting Stadium and traditionally held meetings on Tuesdays and Fridays. Races were run at various distances from sprints over 120 yards up to middle distance 550 yard races.

As well as being well known for greyhound races the circuit was also used for harness and trotting races.

This section gives a comprehensive picture of the badges produced by the track throughout the ages, but only provides the briefest of glimpses of its history. For those wishing to undertake further research we can recommend a visit to
