This was run on Wednesday 5th June 1991 and the winner was bred by the Barronstown Stud and trained by Paul Cole. There were 13 runners and the winning time was 2 mins 34 secs. The winner won a first prize of £355,000, (The equivalent of £724,600 in today's terms based on Bank of England inflation calculator). The winner was owned by HRH Prince Fahd Salman, the second by Hamdan Al Maktoum, and the third by Henryk de Kwiatkowski.
