The race took place on Saturday 8th April 2017 when a field of 40 ran in good to soft going. The winner won by 4 1/2 lengths at 14/1, with 3 3/4 lengths between second and third. The winner was trained by Scottish trainer Lucinda Russell and owned by the Two Golf Widows partnership of Deb Thomson and Belinder McClung.
