GREENWOOD RACECOURSE
Racing has taken place in the Toronto area since 1874 when Woodbine first opened its doors in an area on the outskirts of the city. Some 82 years later it underwent a name change to Old Woodbine, which only lasted for 7 years before being renamed Greenwood in 1963.

It was 30 years later that Greenwood finally closed in 1993.
