HIGHGATE GREYHOUND STADIUM

The Greyhound Stadium at Highgate is situated on Nicholas Lane in Goldthorpe on the outskirts of Rotherham. It holds races on a Tuesday evening and the usual distances are 250 metre sprints and 414 metre standard, although long distance events over 700 metres are also common. It is renowned for its handicap races.
