HOOSIER PARK RACECOURSE |

| The Hoosier Park racecourse can be found in
the town of Anderson in the state of Indiana. It is a relatively young track, with
negotiations opening in 1992 for a new track in Indiana. It was to be fully 2 years later
that the track held its inaugural meeting on 1st September 1994. |

Its principal race is the Indiana Derby, a Grade II event.
The Derby is contested over 8 1/2 furlongs and was won by Peruvian in 1995. The latest
2009 winner was the Victor Espinoza ridden Misremembered. Other feature races include the
Group II Indiana Breeders Cup Oaks for fillies and the Richmond Stakes. |
