The winner was owned by Mr M Hartigan, trained by H Hartigan and ridden by Joe Canty. A purse of £1000 allowed for the second to receive 50 sovereigns and the third 25 sovereigns. The winner won by 5 lengths, with 5 lengths between second and third.
