LEICESTER GREYHOUND STADIUM

The city of Leicester has had a number of greyhound tracks in the past, the earliest one to open being on Aylestone road and situated at 1° 8' W 52° 37 ' N. It held its inaugural meeting on 24th September 1927 and raced under NGRC rules. It only operated for a short time and closed its gates in 1929.
