MELTON MOWBRAY GREYHOUND STADIUM

The Leicestershire town of Melton Mowbray had a greyhound track situated on Saxby Road which first opened its gates on 11th June 1946. The track was independetly run, located at 0° 52' W 52° 45' N and raced successfully for 23 years. It held its final meeting in 1969.

The ground on which the former greyhound track once operated is now covered by an Industrial Park.
