MOSCOW RACECOURSE
The racecourse in the capital of Russia hosts all of the major Russian races.  In late September it plays host to the Russian Breeders Cup Final.
	The President of Russia Federation Stakes was contested over 2400 metres in 2008, an increase of 400 metres on the 2007 event held at Pyatigorsk racecourse. The 2008 event was held on 18th July and was won by Monomakh who defeated both Bronze Cannon and Lake Poet to claim the lions share of the £135,000 prize fund.
In August 2009 the Champion Sprint Stakes for 3 year olds was held at the course and proved to be a triumph for Atlantic Wave.
