NEWMARKET GREYHOUND STADIUM

The Suffolk racehorse town of Newmarket, still blessed with two glorious racetracks, and at one time having a Steeplechase course as well, also had a greyhound track just after the Second World War. The track was built around the perimeter of the Towns Football ground on Cricket Field Road and situated at 0° 24' E 52° 14' N.

It was run independently and operated for just one year in 1947.
