April, including the George Ryder Stakes and Golden Slipper Stakes, run over 1500 metres
and 1200 metres respectively. The George Ryder Stakes was first run in 1973 and was won by
All Shot. The latest 2008 winner was Weekend Hustler. The Slipper was first run in 1957
and won by Todman. The latest victor in 2008 was Sebring. |

| The Rosehill Guineas for 3 year olds is run in March over
2000 metres. One of the earliest races being first run in 1910, it was won in those early

| The Queen of the Turf Stakes is run in March over1500 metres. In 2008
it was run for the first time at Canterbury Park, but in 2007 at Rosehill it was won by
Divine Madonna. First run in 1972 with the winner being Refulgence.
