The 159th winner of the St Leger, held on Wednesday 12th September 1934 over 1 mile 6 furlongs and 132 yards of Town Moor, was Windsor Lad, a bay colt by Blandford out of Resplendent, owned by Mr Martin Benson. A field of 10 runners contested the race which was worth £6,500. (Equivalent to £427,000 in 2017)
