SWAFFHAM GREYHOUND STADIUM

The greyhound track at Swaffham was situated at 0° 37' E 52° 39' N and was run as an independent flapping track. The permit track at Swaffham, more famous for its coursing, was on the Downham Road. It raced all year around on Mondays and Fridays, but extended this to include Wednesday evenings in the Summer. Traditional distances were sprints over 270 metres, and up to popular marathon trips over 896 metres.
