TURFWAY PARK RACECOURSE
Turfway Park racecourse is to be located at the town of Florence in the state of Kentucky. It first opened its gates in 1959 when known as Latonia Race Course, but switched to Turfway Park in 1986.
	Its principal race is the Lane's End Stakes, a Group 2 event over 9 furlongs which was first contested in 1972 when won by the Jimmy Murchison ridden Big Dot. Most recently in 2009 the winner was Hold Me Back.
Other feature races at the track are the Group 3 Bourbonette Oaks for fillies and the Group 3 Kentucky Cup Classic Handicap.
