The Balaklava Racecourse is a provincial racetrack in the state of South Australia situated some 55 miles North of Adelaide.

Its principal race is the Balaklava Cup which is run each September and a crowd in excess of 12000 witnessed the 2008 running.
Balaklava 5.JPG (3207 bytes) The latest running was on 3rd September 2008 when Life To The Full prevailed by a neck from Aztec Smytzer. The winner was ridden by P. Gatt and trained by T.O'Sullivan and was joint favourite with the unplaced Moment In Time.
