BALLINROBE RACECOURSE
The racecourse at Ballinrobe can be found in County Mayo about 48 kilometres from Galway. Racing in the area can be traced back to 1744 although not at its current location.
The present day course first witnessed racing in 1921.

The legendary Doran's Pride won his first race at the track before going on to claim greater victories at the Cheltenham Festival.

The racecourse has undergone a significant period of development over the past few years, with new trunstiles, an extended enclosure and a new grandstand.
