Located on the Yarra Glen Road in Healesville, Victoria is the Healesville Racecourse. The Club is quite young mapping its history back to its inaugural meeting on Easter Saturday 1945.
A significant problem with the course in its early days was the sparsity of viewing opportunities. To partly overcome this problem a mound was developed.

The club is administered by the Healesville Amateur Racing Club and shared the course with the Trotting Club until it moved in 1972. The club is famous for donating old fashioned sit-on jockey scales to the Victoria Racing Museum which Queen Elizabeth II opened in 1981.
Its principal race is the Healesville Cup contested each January. In the 2009 contest run over 1650 metres the winner was Purge ridden by Shane McGovern.
