The Lahore Racecourse is in the Punjab region of Pakistan and first introduced racing in 1924 with the first meeting taking place on 18th January of that year. However, racing in the region can be traced back as far as 1874.
The current location of the racecourse is Jilani, with the first meeting at this site taking place in September 1981.

Its principal race is the Pakistan Derby which, in 2006, was run on 5th March and a bay colt called Thrill was successful when trained by Sohail Aziz.
