MOUNT WYCHEPROOF RACECOURSE
Racing has taken place at Mount Wycheproof since 1881 and by 1899 large crowds were arriving from the surrounding district.
	The course is quite sharp and requires a strong jockey with knowledge of the course. The racecourse shares the ground with the local Golf Course.
The courses claim to fame is that the famous Australian jockey Bill Pyers rode his first winner at the racecourse.
	Another famous event took place in 1977 when jockey Paul Mallia managed to ride the winners of 5 of the 6 races at the March meeting.
