The Ngong racecourse is situated in Nairobi the Kenyan capital.
Nairobi 1971.JPG (6675 bytes) The principal race is the Kenya Derby which is run each April. In 2008 there were 16 runners lined up for the title and it was left to the favourite, Warai, ridden by local hero Ibrahim Wachira, who was to prove successful.
