TWESELDOWN RACECOURSE

The racecourse is located at Crookham near Fleet, in the Aldershot area.

In 1854 the Army purchased the site on which the current racecourse stands.

By 1867 the course was operating as a racecourse.

By 1880 the racecourse was recognised under National Hunt Rules.

It is famous for its Victorian Grandstand.

Now more famous as an eventing  course.
